Stacy and I have always wanted to go on a cruise. And go to the Bahamas, unfortunately with four children and one that had special needs it was hard to get away. This year, we finally did it. Go on a cruise that is!
I play guitar in a contemporary Christian band, no name, we just play. We primarily play Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Buford, GA (soon moving to Flowery Branch) but we have played Six Flags, several events around the Archdiocese of Atlanta, local music festivals, and even cut a live CD (we have sold about 500).
As a group we decided to take a cruise. It was great. Twelve couples and our infant Aurelia (can't leave her behind).
The cruise started out badly with our travel agent forgetting to put Aurelia in the manifest. So, $300 later, I had the privilege of carrying her up the gang plank to the ship. After that we really enjoyed ourselves.
We had all had a great time. Abundant food, all you can eat, anytime you want to eat. Drinks were always flowing. Yes, Catholics are allowed to drink, just not get drunk (that is the sin).
If you ever go on a cruise, take a gang with you. It is much more fun. Not only are you with dear friends (or in our case they are family) but the night life is much better when you can just kick back and be yourself.
Anyway, here are some pictures of our trip to the Bahamas.

What an ugly lot! You can see my wife, Stacy, Aurelia, and myself in the back (notice I am the farthest back). We are on the ferry to Cocoa Cay Island. It is a nice little resort island for cruise ships.

Here is Cocoa Cay. It was a beautiful day. Sunny, clear, bright. I sat on the beach and played my guitar! My wife is shopping at this time.

Above is Stacy and Aurelia on Cocoa Cay. Stacy got really burned. Do NOT use spray on sun-block. Aurelia really didn't like the sand. She is such a princess!

Aurelia enjoys a nap with dad. It was the only rest I had that day! We kept covered with a light garment. Our little one couldn't handle a sun burn.

Can you say Whoa! I was completely stunned. Stacy still has it after raising four kids, me, and the dog! Aurelia isn't that bad either! Formal night was awesome. We all got to dress up and be civilized. Yes, people from a town named "Buford" can be civilized!

Here we are in the lobby. One part of a big happy family!
Our trip ended in Nassau, Bahamas. It was great. I got to shop in the straw market and negotiate for goods. Kind of fun. Unfortunately we didn't take many pictures. Here are a couple with me in them (I was not taking the pictures)!

Nassau was beautiful. The people were friendly, the food was pretty good. And the scenery was gorgeous.

Dad get to give some sugar to his baby on the boat. This was a glass bottom boat. Nice fishies. Nice reef. No pictures since daddy didn't take them this day.

Here we are getting ready to leave the straw market and head to the ship for the final night of the cruise.
If we had to go again, we would. It is a fantastic way to fellowship and get to know people. Aurelia was the hit of the boat. There were probably 5 infants on the cruise. But she was the cutest! We made sure she participated in all the events we could. We were gonna get our $300 worth.
